LEGO Ideas starts festive event to find seasonal creations

LEGO Ideas is ringing in the season with a new festive event to partake in and share how you prepare for the holidays, whatever they are.

A new LEGO Ideas activity has begun, ending the previous one which was helping in the LEGO Group’s annual build to give charity campaign. For those curious, the last activity ended with 237 submissions, far more than any other in 2021 and beating the 2019 iteration which had 127 entries.

This time, the event is asking for festive builds that show how you and your family celebrate the holidays, or maybe how your minifigures prepare by making sets or displays seasonal.

Whether you like to add the latest entry to the Winter Village Collection to your home or were simply planning to put a Christmas tree in the lobby of LEGO Marvel 76178 Daily Bugle, the team at LEGO Ideas wants to see your entries.

The submission period closes December 7, 2021, meaning you’ve got just under two weeks to get your build done and make things festive. As usual, there are no prizes on offer in the activity and taboo topics must be avoided along with third-party intellectual property should you wish to see your model shared on social media.

You can read up on the rules and submit your creation on the dedicated activity webpage. For those who need some inspiration, LEGO for Adults 10293 Santa’s Visit was recently released on the official online store and you can read our full review to see all the festive details.
