LEGO Jurassic World could finally be recreating The Lost World: Jurassic Park

Two of the three LEGO Jurassic World sets rumoured for summer 2024 appear to finally be recreating The Lost World: Jurassic Park in LEGO form.

Recent rumours from brick_clicker for LEGO Jurassic World’s summer 2024 range include three models, one of which is named after a character from the Camp Cretaceous animated series. The other two have less obvious names though they can be paired with two scenes from The Lost World: Jurassic Park, possibly coming as the first LEGO sets based on the movie ever.

The rumoured 76965 The Stegosaurus Lookout could be inspired by the scene with Dr. Sarah Harding in the Jurassic Park sequel as the species has only appeared a few times on screen. While Harding was interacting with the baby Stegosaurus, the rest of the team was sitting back, looking out for anything else only to encounter fully-grown dinosaurs a moment later.

76966 T. rex Trailer may remind you of 75935 Baryonyx Face-Off: The Treasure Hunt and its trailer but a mobile lab is featured in The Lost World in an encounter with a T. rex and it may be that the name is referring to the large vehicle as a trailer.

At the rumoured price of $99.99, there could be enough parts in 76966 T. rex Trailer to allow for a decently-sized recreation of the mobile lab alongside a T. rex, similar to what Dinobro007 on YouTube has devised but at a smaller scale.

Nothing has been confirmed for the future of LEGO Jurassic World but the rumoured names for the summer 2024 sets suggest that we’re finally getting builds based on The Lost World: Jurassic Park.

LEGO has been a part of my life ever since I was young. It all started when my brother passed down 7657 AT-ST to me. It’s guided me through my early years, through school and eventually through my degree in journalism. I still have all my collection proudly on display, including my many NINJAGO sets, my favourite of all the LEGO Group’s themes. Outside of Brick Fanatics I am an avid gamer and enjoy a good game of Dungeons & Dragons.
