Every LEGO Marvel Ant-Man buildable figure – February 2023

LEGO Marvel 76256 Ant-Man Construction Figure has been revealed, but it’s not the first upscaled depiction of the character to date. 

Though 76256 Ant-Man Construction Figure, the only set so far for Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, it’s not as unique as a massive LEGO Ant-Man figure as this ability has been recreated a few times before, but not quite like this. 

Looking back at the lengthy history of LEGO Marvel Cinematic Universe sets, here’s every appearance of an upscaled Ant-Man figure. 

3 – 76051 Super Hero Airport Battle

Featured in the Captain America Civil War range of LEGO Marvel sets, 76051 Super Hero Airport Battle included a depiction of Giant-Man, but with the proportions of a minifigure and a proportionate amount of posing to boot. 

While this version of Giant-Man has yet to return, the concept of a brick-built minifigure featured in themes from Harry Potter to NINJAGO and even employee gifts from 2017 onwards. A sticker and printed piece are used to convey much of the details of the helmet 

2 – 75997 Ant-Man and the Wasp 

Pieces: 218 Year: 2018 Price: Comic-Con exclusive  

Unfortunately, this set was exclusive to San Diego Comic-Con 2018. 75997 Ant-Man and the Wasp isn’t exactly a full build of Ant-Man at a bigger scale, instead offering a bust of the character to recreate a moment from Ant-Man and the Wasp. 

Still, this model is worth mentioning for how it approaches Ant-man’s helmet at a bigger size. It features the red stripes, transparent lenses and the apparatus on the front, but with no stickers or prints used. 

1 – 76256 Ant-Man Construction Figure

Five years later and 76256 Ant-Man Construction Figure is due for release on May 1, 2023, for £29.99 / $29.99 / €34.99. It’s the biggest build for the character yet but eschews the minifigure proportions to be as versatile as possible. 

In scale with the other LEGO Marvel buildable figures but also with minifigures as Giant-Man, 76256 Ant-Man Construction Figure is more accessible than the other sets with some of the most notable details taken from the Quantumania costume.
