LEGO Marvel collection continues in 2026, but with deviation

LEGO Marvel’s next big build continues a recent collection in a meaningful way, expanding a range of sticker-based comic books.

What started in 76269 Avengers Tower continues in 76354 S.H.I.E.L.D. Helicarrier. The June 2026 model is the latest to include a LEGO recreation of a Marvel comic cover as a sticker. The collection has only been going through LEGO Marvel modular buildings so far, but that’s about to change this summer.

The collection started in 76269 Avengers Tower, which depicts 1963’s Avengers #1 with classic LEGO Avengers minifigures on the graphic. 76294 X-Men: The X-Mansion recreated the cover of 1963’s Uncanny X-Men #1, including Ice-Man and Magneto.

The third LEGO comic cover is in 76354 S.H.I.E.L.D. Helicarrier, depicting Captain America #11 from 2004. One of the designers behind 76354 S.H.I.E.L.D. Helicarrier was able to explain why this specific comic was chosen, rather than the first appearance of the Winter Soldier – Captain America #6.

“We have one of the first iconic Winter Soldier comic covers,” explained Graphic Designer Mark Tranter at Fan Media Days. “It’s not the first appearance [of the character], but it’s the first comic that gives a detailed backstory of the Winter Soldier.”

You can see how these LEGO comic covers compare to the real deal in the following gallery. The third of these tributes stands out for the more modern artwork and layout, depicting Bucky several times in the background.

76354 S.H.I.E.L.D. Helicarrier is home to the third LEGO Marvel comic cover, but the sets featuring the other are both available right now. 76294 X-Men: The X-Mansion is currently scheduled to retire at the end of 2026. Otherwise, 76354 S.H.I.E.L.D. Helicarrier will be released on June 1 for £329.99 in the UK, $399.99 in the US and €369.99 in Europe.

LEGO has been a part of my life ever since I was young. It all started when my brother passed down 7657 AT-ST to me. It’s guided me through my early years, through school and eventually through my degree in journalism. I still have all my collection proudly on display, including my many NINJAGO sets, my favourite of all the LEGO Group’s themes. Outside of Brick Fanatics I am an avid gamer and enjoy a good game of Dungeons & Dragons.
