LEGO Marvel Fantastic Four minifigures aren’t fantastic
LEGO fans have been waiting for Fantastic Four minifigures for a long while, but the much-anticipated reveal might not be what was hoped for.
LEGO Marvel 76316 Fantastic Four vs. Galactus Construction Figure has been officially revealed, marking the long-awaited physical minifigure debut for Marvel’s First Family. However, while hardcore fans will likely be taking anything they can get, a closer look at these minifigures reveals that they aren’t exactly fantastic.
Brick Fanatics‘ Matthew argues that it feels as if the LEGO Group is sitting on the fence about Fantastic Four. Without putting everything behind the characters before the movie comes out, we’re left with some lacklustre minifigures, including a regular-sized Thing minifigure, and a Mr Fantastic who is wearing stilts.
Join Matthew over on our YouTube channel to dig into the details of these minifigures and discuss the future of the Fantastic Four characters within the world of LEGO. Be sure to leave your own thoughts, be they positive or negative, in the comments down below.
LEGO Marvel 76316 Fantastic Four vs. Galactus Construction Figure will retail for £54.99 in the UK, $59.99 in the US, and €59.99 in Europe upon its release on June 1.

People have to ruin EVERYTHING. Quit being little cry baby’s about tiny things that don’t mean crap
Where is the Silver Surfer in this battle between Galactus and the FF4?
Lego needs to go back and reread the original story
Although I’m planning to purchase this LEGO set when it’s released, I absolutely agree: The Thing should have been portrayed as a big fig and Mr. Fantastic should have come with rubber arms. In my opinion, the LEGO Company played this set cheaply. After all, why else would they not make Mr. Fantastic and the Thing the proper way?
To be fair, the Thing isn’t any taller than the other members of the FF in the original 60s/70s run of the comics, or in this latest film. Various artists started drawing him larger and larger, but he’s more wide than tall. As for Mr Fantastic’s stilts.. yeah, that looks goofy as hell.
