LEGO Marvel might be getting an advent calendar in 2021

A rumoured list of LEGO Marvel sets has surfaced, indicating that the superhero theme might be a little jollier than usual later this year. 

StoneWars is reporting that there may be an additional LEGO Marvel set amongst the rest of the summer releases, with some of the superheroes allegedly set to celebrate the holidays in a brand new advent calendar. Yes, you read that correctly!

However, do remember that these are all just rumours and absolutely nothing is confirmed until the LEGO Group makes an official announcement. 

76196 Marvel Advent Calendar will supposedly be joining the usual range of LEGO advent calendars, which currently stretches across themes including Harry Potter, Star Wars, Friends and CITY. We’ve already discussed potential themes that would make for some great additions to the annual collection, but it seems that a second Disney property has supposedly been chosen.

We can probably expect this alleged advent calendar to include the usual 24 mini builds and minifigures, and StoneWars is reporting that one of the featured characters will be Iron Man in a Christmas jumper, a similar idea to what was already included in the 2020 75279 Star Wars Advent Calendar. 

Promobricks reports that the build selection will include a Quinjet, the Helicarrier, the Hall of Armor, the Hulkbuster suit, the Avengers Tower and Dum-E, while the rest of the minifigures will apparently consist of Thanos, Black Widow, Thor, Captain Marvel and Nick Fury, as well as an exclusive Spider-Man wearing a yellow college jacket. StoneWars suggest that 76196 Marvel Advent Calendar will release in September for €29.99.
