More LEGO Marvel 2025 rumours include PlayStation Spider-Man

A new selection of rumoured details has arrived for the LEGO Marvel 2025 sets, including an allusion to the PlayStation Spider-Man games.

Early rumours for the LEGO Marvel 2025 sets include everything from the Spider-Verse to mechs to Captain America: Civil War. Previously, we’ve only had reported prices and names to go off. Instagram user palnetttt (re-reported and backed up by a reliable source) has more to share though.

These are still rumours and should be taken with an equal level of caution, but there are some potentially exciting details to dig into.

76308 Spider-Man Mech vs Anti-Venom

One of the most surprising details from this rumour is that 76308 Spider-Man Mech vs Anti-Venom is said to be based on the PlayStation Spider-Man games.

It comes with a small caveat though – the minifigures will not take inspiration from the games. You’ll still need to gather the funds for one of the Comic-Con exclusive LEGO Marvel Spider-Man PlayStation minifigures according to this rumour. This might just mean that the mech incorporates the PlayStation suit’s white, red and blue colour scheme.

76311 Spider-Verse: Miles Morales vs The Spot

The additional rumoured detail for 76311 Spider-Verse: Miles Morales vs The Spot isn’t quite as exciting as the Instagram user reports that The Spot’s minifigure will simply include leg printing.

This could easily be left out for the primarily white character so it’s a welcome reported detail, but it remains unconfirmed for now.

76314 Civil War Airport Battle

Most of the rumoured list is dedicated to 76314 Civil War Airport Battle as it’s reported the set will mostly consist of reused minifigures, but not entirely. Hopefully, the new entries include an updated Winter Soldier at least.

While the last Civil War airport fight set featured a brick-built Giant-Man styled as an upscaled minifigure, 76314 Civil War Airport Battle is rumoured to include a build similar to 76256 Ant-Man Construction Figure with an altered torso and head to match the movie.

[TBC] Endgame Final Battle

Rounding out the rumours, the reported Endgame Final Battle set, which still does not have a number, is said to include a mech. The movie did not feature any such mechs in the final battle unless this is referring to War Machine’s bulky armour from that scene or another take on Giant-Man.

While it’s not specifically attached to any set, the source also states that a Red Hulk minifigure complete with a moustache and oversized glasses is going into production. As for what set it could be included in, the user isn’t sure but thinks that it might be part of a Hulk monster truck in 76310 Iron Man Cars & Black Panther vs Red Hulk.

LEGO has been a part of my life ever since I was young. It all started when my brother passed down 7657 AT-ST to me. It’s guided me through my early years, through school and eventually through my degree in journalism. I still have all my collection proudly on display, including my many NINJAGO sets, my favourite of all the LEGO Group’s themes. Outside of Brick Fanatics I am an avid gamer and enjoy a good game of Dungeons & Dragons.
