LEGO Minifigure Factory embraces space with new update

The LEGO Minifigure Factory may still be in beta and not available widely for now, but it has embraced space with a new selection of designs.

The LEGO Group hasn’t been coy about the space craze that has swept through themes and even Fortnite earlier today and now the trend has made its way to the online Minifigure Factory.

The service launched following a trial in the US earlier this year and has yet to launch in many other regions, though the page in those other regions now states that it has not been added yet. Those in the US can now enjoy a variety of space designs inspired by the 2024 sets across various themes.

The torso decorations feature everything from the green aliens to the Classic Space Logo and other stylised designs that could be useful for many minifigures. Note that the prints will only be applied to a white torso with white arms and yellow hands at the time of writing.

These can be arranged alongside text to create some interesting new designs and the online Minifigure Factory is currently $11.99 and limited to one minifigure per order.

Some suggestions for where the designs could be used include some of the minifigures in 71046 Series 26 Space and the recent LEGO City sets for space enthusiasts and astronauts alike. Whether these designs will continue to be available when the Minifigure Factory fully launches in other regions has yet to be confirmed.

It is also not known whether or not these designs are available in physical Minifigure Factory stations in LEGO stores, but it seems likely as many limited edition designs have been offered in-store before.

LEGO has been a part of my life ever since I was young. It all started when my brother passed down 7657 AT-ST to me. It’s guided me through my early years, through school and eventually through my degree in journalism. I still have all my collection proudly on display, including my many NINJAGO sets, my favourite of all the LEGO Group’s themes. Outside of Brick Fanatics I am an avid gamer and enjoy a good game of Dungeons & Dragons.
