Don’t forget your LEGO minifigure scanner before you go hunting for LEGO 71048 Series 27

Another season of tracking down minifigures is around the corner with LEGO 71048 Series 27 and there’s an essential tool you need to know about.

Ever since the LEGO Group moved to boxes instead of bags for the Collectible Minifigures series, it’s been a bit harder to identify what’s inside each box before you pick it up (as intended). Thankfully, there’s still an effective method to track down every individual minifigure that works for 71048 Series 27.

Whether you’re looking for an army of Wolfpack Beastmasters or want to grab the latest pair of costumed characters, make sure you download the Brick Search on iOS or Android and sign up for Brick Search Plus’ minifigure scanner before you leave the house on January 1. The codes for each of the 12 minifigures in 71048 Series 27 have been added to the app as well, in case you’re lucky enough to find them early.

By scanning the data matrix codes on the bottom of 71048 Series 27 boxes, Brick Search Plus will be able to tell you which minifigure is inside, making the chances of you finding a full collection on your first try much more likely.

The minifigure scanner has already been loaded with all the relevant data for 71048 Series 27 ready for release day. All you need to do is download the app on iOS or Android and sign up for Brick Search Plus on an annual basis for £19.99 / $29.99 or monthly for £1.99 / $2.99. Then, you’ll have access to the minifigure scanner ready to track down all 12 71047 Series 27 minifigures (or whatever combination of them you desire).

While you wait for launch day, click here to take a closer look at all of the new minifigures.

LEGO has been a part of my life ever since I was young. It all started when my brother passed down 7657 AT-ST to me. It’s guided me through my early years, through school and eventually through my degree in journalism. I still have all my collection proudly on display, including my many NINJAGO sets, my favourite of all the LEGO Group’s themes. Outside of Brick Fanatics I am an avid gamer and enjoy a good game of Dungeons & Dragons.
