LEGO Monkie Kid 2023 set could be perfect for Horizon Forbidden West build
80043 Yellow Tusk Elephant from the 2023 LEGO Monkie Kid wave might be the ideal foundation for a custom Horizon Forbidden West build.
Ever since the release of 76989 Horizon Forbidden West: Tallneck, the possibilities for more LEGO recreations of the mechanical beasts in the PlayStation franchise has been rife, though there’s still only one official model for the game.
However, one LEGO Monkie Kid 2023 set offers a good start for those wanting to make a custom recreation of another beast from the game. The predominantly white and grey colour scheme of 80043 Yellow Tusk Elephant matches up with that of the Tremortusk and both have four tusks, and places to hold them, too.

As depicted in the statue included in the Regalia edition of Horizon Forbidden West, the scale of the elephant to minifigure isn’t far off from that of the Tremortusk either and both have a platform with enemies on top.
By mixing up the stickers and elements used on the base elephant build and platform in 80043 Yellow Tusk Elephant, it could act as a great foundation for a custom LEGO Tremortusk to pair with 76989 Horizon Forbidden West: Tallneck. You might even be able to complete the modifications before the upcoming Horizon series too.
