Four LEGO Monkie Kid summer 2024 sets revealed

Fans of LEGO Monkie Kid have a lot to look forward to this summer, with four impressive new models having been revealed today.

The LEGO Monkie Kid theme continues to expand each year with unique builds, from vehicles and locations to mechs and creatures. This summer will see an additional four sets possibly arriving as soon as next month, with another eclectic selection of models for fans to collect and build.

Thanks to Instagram posts from German retailer Lucky Bricks and listings on the official Building Instructions page, we now have our first look at the upcoming LEGO Monkie Kid builds, although we still don’t have any confirmed details regarding prices, piece counts and release dates.

80055 Monkie Kid’s Team Power Truck

Price:  TBC Pieces: 712 Release date: Summer 2024

Rumoured to be a 712-piece set, 80055 Monkie Kid’s Team Power Truck includes the main red vehicle itself, complete with four chunky wheels. The model also comes with three additional mini craft, as well as Monkie Kid, Mei, Pigsy, Sandy and The 100-Eyed Demon minifigures, plus Baby Mo figure.

80056 Nine-Headed Beast

Price:  TBC Pieces: 757 Release date: Summer 2024

What’s said to be a 757-piece build, 80056 Nine-Headed Beast is a huge beast, with what look to be impressive, printed wings. The set also features a small pagoda to construct, as well as five minifigures of Monkie Kid, Monkey King, Mr. Tang and The Nine-Headed Demon.

80057 Nezha’s Ring of Fire Mech

Price:  TBC Pieces: 1,163 Release date: Summer 2024

This summer’s massive LEGO Monkie Kid mech addition is 80057 Nezha’s Ring of Fire Mech. Rumoured to come with 1,163 pieces, the lumbering titan boasts multiple flame elements and a large golden sword staff, plus the set will arrive with six minifigures including Monkie Kid, Mei, Monkey King, Nezha, The Nine-Headed Demon and The 100-Eyed Demon.

80058 Celestial Pagoda

Price:  TBC Pieces: 1,621 Release date: Summer 2024

Giving 80054 Megapolis City 5th Anniversary a run for its money is yet another towering LEGO Monkie Kid structure. 80058 Celestial Pagoda is reported to be the largest of the summer wave of sets, with what may be 1,621 pieces and a total of seven minifigures including Monkie Kid, Mei, Pigsy, Mr. Tang, Sandy, Baby Mo, Li Jing and Nüwa.

Full listings for the LEGO Monkie Kid sets have yet to appear on LEGO.com, but we suspect it’s only a matter of time before they do. As soon as they go live, we’ll be able to confirm international prices, piece counts and release dates for all four upcoming models.
