DK Books’ latest LEGO Batman title is out now, complete with an exclusive Jokerized Batman minifigure – but it’s already proving hard to find.
LEGO Batman Adventures in Gotham City arrived on bookshelves on July 2, but if you want to get your hands on a copy right this instant you might have your work cut out in the UK. It’s currently back-ordered at Amazon UK until August 25, and it’s out of stock altogether at Waterstones online. Some branches of Waterstones appear to have it available in-store, but not all.
If you didn’t hit the pre-order button back in November (or April, when the exclusive minifigure was revealed), you’re probably going to have a little bit of a wait on your hands now. But it’ll be worth it for Jokerized Batman, which looks like one of the most creative and inventive DC minifigures the LEGO Group has cooked up in recent years.

The inspiration for this one is McFarlane Toys’ series of Jokerized figures, which apply the Joker’s aesthetic to a variety of DC characters, although the specific design of the minifigure appears to be an original creation by the LEGO Super Heroes team. The torso, cape and cowl are all unique to this minifigure at the time of release.
If you’re content to play the waiting game, you can order a copy of LEGO Batman Adventures in Gotham City and its Jokerized Batman from Amazon UK for only £12.98, which is a fair bit cheaper than the typical RRP for DK Books titles that include desirable minifigures.
