LEGO Nike Air Max DN sneakers officially revealed
Nike has officially revealed its LEGO Nike Air Max DN sneakers, hot on the heels of the LEGO Group’s 43008 Nike Dunk.
The Nike online store has been updated with an official listing for the Nike Air Max Dn x LEGO Collection, the first in a seemingly long future line of LEGO x Nike apparel. Available from August 1 and priced at $155 (around £110), the LEGO Nike Air Max Dn is a vibrant pair of yellow sneakers, packed full of references to the LEGO Group.
The primary colourway and the stud pattern across the shoe is accented with the LEGO logo on the tongue and on the sole of the shoe, as well as the tiny air bubbles that sit along the rear and sides of the shoe also featuring a LEGO stud and minifigure head, as well as, somewhat mysteriously, a four-eyed alien creature.

The Nike website promises that ‘additional Nike footwear and apparel will be unveiled through the fall’, although no exact dates for a reveal are given as yet. Presumably, that refers to the Dunk Low x LEGO collection, due for release in September, but could also include other products yet to be revealed.
More reveals down the line align too with the LEGO Group confirming that more sets are on the way later this year. There’s also some clear consideration to LEGO fans even in the packaging of the sneakers, featuring compartments to store LEGO pieces in when you’re not storing your shoes in them.

This comes on the same day as the LEGO Group officially revealed 43008 Nike Dunk, a brick-built version of the iconic Dunk shoe. With the two companies gearing up for a multi-year global partnership that will apparently span products, content and experiences, this is surely only the beginning of the collaboration.
“At Nike, we are dedicated to fueling the potential of kids through play,” said Cal Dowers, VP, Global Kids, NIKE, Inc. “Activating the full power of Nike – from athletes to our communities – helps us engage and inspire kids to experience the enjoyment of sport as a lifelong pursuit. Our partnership with the LEGO Group reinforces our commitment to inviting all kids to play.”
Already, Nike has announced plans for in-person experiences, including the Nike and LEGO Play Arena, which will open to the public at LEGOLAND California Resort from June 7 to 11. Visitors will be able to take part in a basketball-themed experience where children and families can design their own LEGO Minifigure athlete trading card, create their own mini basketball jersey, and shoot a three-pointer in a basketball experience.
With football gearing up for its summer season in Europe, Nike and the LEGO Group will also team up between July 19 and 27 in London, with activities geared toward football-loving kids and events with nonprofit organisations focused on building girls’ confidence.
