LEGO says more Nike sets will be revealed later this summer
43008 Nike Dunk is apparently just the start of a wider collection, as the LEGO Group says more sets inspired by its collaboration with Nike will be unveiled later this summer.
Nestled in a press release for the newly-revealed 43008 Nike Dunk is confirmation that ‘additional LEGO sets will go on sale in September, with more information to be released this summer’, confirming that the LEGO Group’s multi-year partnership with Nike will indeed prove more fruitful than its collaboration with Adidas in 2021. The only retail LEGO product to arise from that relationship was 10282 Adidas Originals Superstar.
43008 Nike Dunk treads a similar path for the first LEGO x Nike set with another brick-built shoe, only this time accompanied by a wider display that also features a minifigure, rotating basketball and Nike Dunk logo. There’s no word yet which direction future sets may take, but Nike certainly isn’t short on footwear ranges for the LEGO Group to mine for material.

In fact, Nike has also announced brand new shoes as part of this collaboration, including the Air Max Dn x LEGO and Dunk Low x LEGO collections, which will go on sale at Nike and select third-party retailers from August and September respectively. 43008 Nike Dunk, meanwhile, drops July 1 for £89.99 / $99.99 / €99.99 and is available to pre-order at LEGO.com now.
