LEGO 71799 NINJAGO City Markets designer signing announced

Two designers behind the upcoming 71799 NINJAGO City Markets will be signing copies of the massive set at a special in-store event next month.

A whopping 14 LEGO NINJAGO sets were recently revealed to be releasing on June 1, 2023, from small models such as 71777 Kai’s Dragon Power Spinjitzu Flip to the massive 71799 NINJAGO City Markets. The latter is the latest addition to the theme’s modular building line-up and joins the likes of 70620 NINJAGO City, 70657 NINJAGO City Docks and 71741 NINJAGO City Gardens.

Clocking in at a seriously-impressive 6,163 pieces, 71799 NINJAGO City Markets straddles two 32×32-stud baseplates and will be priced at £319.99 / $369.99 / €369.99. When the set arrives next month, long-time fans of the theme will be able to combine all four modular buildings into one huge display piece, if they have the space for it, that is.

To celebrate the launch of 71799 NINJAGO City Markets, it’s now been announced that two of the designers behind the model will be signing copies of the upcoming build on June 1 at the LEGO Store Leicester Square. VIP members in attendance can purchase the new NINJAGO set and meet Renato Esper and Florian Müller between 2pm and 4pm on the day. There’s a maximum limit of two sets per person at the event, on a strictly first come first served basis.

71799 NINJAGO City Markets will then receive a wider launch for everyone else from June 4, 203.
