LEGO NINJAGO: Dragons Rising Season 2 part two could be starting soon
The second part of LEGO NINJAGO: Dragons Rising Season 2 could be hitting screens sooner than expected with a dragon-centric episode.
A new listing on the Australian TV guide YourTV has revealed that a new episode of LEGO NINJAGO: Dragons Rising will be released later this month. The Shape of Motion is listed for airing on June 29 at 10:30am local time.
A brief description of the episode mentions Arin and the team rescuing a baby dragon while searching for Arin’s parents. As stated by producer Chris Wyatt earlier this year on X, episode 11 of Season 2 will explain whether each dragon species has a matriarch and a baby dragon would be a useful plot device in answering that question.
The mention of motion may tie in with the creature that has inspired 71822 Source Dragon of Motion too, though nothing has been confirmed.
It’s entirely possible that the listing has some inaccuracies but The Shape of Motion appears to be a brand new episode of NINJAGO that could match up with what we know about the next episode of the series. Provided this is accurate, the next chapter of LEGO NINJAGO starts at the end of this month and the recently-released sets suggest that it’s all about a major tournament.
While this is good news for NINJAGO enthusiasts in Australia, there’s no sign of a release for the rest of the second season in other regions at the time of writing and a wider release may be planned for the second half of the year, as is common for the series.
In the meantime, there’s a new selection of LEGO NINJAGO sets now available in most regions and marketing for the next chapter of the theme recently kicked off.
