LEGO NINJAGO Dragons Rising trailer teases adventure to come

A new trailer for LEGO NINJAGO Dragons Rising has surfaced, detailing a new faction, cores and the adventures to come.

Though the LEGO NINJAGO Dragons Rising sets released earlier this year including minifigures and items not seen in the series, a new trailer has teased that there’s still a lot to see in the first season of the theme’s new show.

Uploaded to YouTube, the video offers an extended look at the Dragon Energy Cores and the quest that the team will be undertaking to gather them all.

The unique spirit minifigure from 71795 Temple of the Dragon Energy Cores is included twice in the trailer as well as 71794 Lloyd and Arin’s Ninja Team Mechs. However, the presence of two suited characters carrying a core into a blue portal is a more interesting development and may be teasing a new faction for the world of NINJAGO.

Another Geckle is featured with what appears to be an elemental power as well as a beam of energy hitting Imperium as the ninjas approach it.

Exactly what all this means has yet to be seen and we’ll likely know more when the second part of the season starts from October 12. The official LEGO website has revealed that the release dates will vary by region again, but it should be with everyone before the year is through.

Rumours for NINJAGO’s selection of sets in 2024 have surfaced, suggesting that Dragons Rising isn’t done just yet and there’s a lot to explore in this new merged world.

LEGO has been a part of my life ever since I was young. It all started when my brother passed down 7657 AT-ST to me. It’s guided me through my early years, through school and eventually through my degree in journalism. I still have all my collection proudly on display, including my many NINJAGO sets, my favourite of all the LEGO Group’s themes. Outside of Brick Fanatics I am an avid gamer and enjoy a good game of Dungeons & Dragons.
