LEGO offering free VIP points for registering your collection

The LEGO Group is offering an all-new way to earn VIP points but only to a limited amount of members – and all you need to do is register part of your collection.

Spotted in an Instagram advert, The LEGO Group is inviting anyone to register the models they own via a fillable form and earn free VIP credit for doing so. The survey that is accessible via this link features six questions but is only limited to a small number of users at one entry each.

The first 10,000 people who use that link to register a single model will presumably see points equal to the value of the build added to their account, with no purchases necessary on the official online store. The exact total of credit rewarded is not explained, but the presence of this system could be a way for the LEGO Group to reward shoppers who purchased plenty of sets before signing up for the program.

Those who may be too late and miss out on the opportunity to fill out this survey are still able to earn the usual cashback towards future purchases on the official online store, with a pair of Super Mario sets currently offering double their normal VIP points.

This isn’t the first potential trial that the VIP program is being subjected too as selected members are currently able to redeem a free 40512 Fun and Funky VIP Add On Pack in the UK. We’ll let you know if or when we know more about this set registration system and if the LEGO Group reveals plans to roll it out on a less limited scale, though nothing has been confirmed at this time.

This has all the hallmark indicators of a scam, minus the spelling errors. Did it anyway though lol
