LEGO Originals 853967 Wooden Minifigure sells out in VIP Reward Centre
There was a great deal to be had for a few minutes at midnight in the LEGO VIP Reward Centre, with LEGO Originals 853967 Wooden Minifigure costing just 9,000 points.
Black Friday is in full swing at LEGO.com. There was one deal that ran out more quickly than all of the others, with LEGO Originals 853967 Wooden Minifigure selling out in the LEGO VIP Reward Centre within minutes, if not seconds.
The wooden statue was being sold for 9,000 points, which would buy approximately £56 worth of VIP Reward Vouchers – so it’s half the price that the product usually costs at LEGO.com. As usual with appealing physical rewards, it seems some fans have so many VIP points stored up that the stock went in seconds – and the LEGO Group decided to only release “extremely limited quantities”.
Another drop of physical rewards should come at midnight tonight, which may include more of 853967 Wooden Minifigure.
There’s also the chance to get £5 vouchers for just 400 points. That’s half the usual amount of 800 points, effectively offering a £2.50 saving. Unfortunately, you can only redeem one per customer and the online allocation is sold out for today. It is expected to refresh at midnight tonight.
LEGO.com’s Black Friday offers have kicked off today, including 20% off selected sets, a free 40410 Charles Dickens Tribute with a £150 / $150 spend, and the chance to earn 1,000,000 VIP points. LEGO Creator Expert 10276 Colosseum is also available now, with a free Roman Chariot gift-with-purchase available for early adopters.
