18+ LEGO Pixar set rumoured to bring back Ideas model
The rumoured 18+ Pixar set is stated to be bringing back Angus MacLane’s LEGO Ideas concept with a beloved character getting a third build.
A recent list of LEGO 2025 rumours from Redditor Clay_Bricks includes many exciting details for Star Wars, Marvel and Icons. At the bottom of the list are reports of a pair of upcoming Disney models, following up on previous rumours with piece counts and set identities.
Take these rumours with caution until an official confirmation arrives, but it should come as hopefully good news for enthusiasts that are newer to the LEGO portfolio.
43264 Toy Story Celebration Train & RC Car
Pieces: 206 Price: $39.99 Release date: July 2025
43264 Toy Story Celebration Train & RC Car is the smallest of the two rumoured models with 206 pieces but with a reported price of $39.99, all but confirming it as a 4+ build. This seems likely to follow up on 43212 Disney Celebration Train but with just Toy Story characters. Notably, Woody was included in the initial train, but the likes of Buzz, Bo Peep and RC seem likely for such a build.
43279 WALL•E and EVE
Pieces: 811 Price: $69.99 Release date: September 2025
Most excitingly, it’s rumoured that the 18+ LEGO Pixar set claimed to be coming in September will be a WALL•E model made up of 811 pieces, but this time accompanied by EVE as he is in the smaller 40619 EVE & WALL•E BrickHeadz. This is something that we proposed following the initial rumour too.
For comparison, LEGO Ideas 21303 WALL•E uses 676 pieces and assuming that the two characters use a similar number of parts, the 2025 WALL•E build would need to be considerably smaller than the old Ideas model, but still bigger than the BrickHeadz. Either way, it would be a welcome sight for many Disney fans given that the LEGO Ideas model has been retired for nearly nine years.
