LEGO SDCC 2023 NINJAGO and DREAMZzz signing events confirmed

LEGO DREAMZzz designers, NINJAGO writers and more famous faces will be participating in signing events at San Diego Comic-Con 2023.

Two LEGO-themed panels are already confirmed for this year’s SDCC, including one on NINJAGO and DREAMZzz and another delving behind the scenes of LEGO MASTERS. In addition to hearing from some of the talent behind those themes and shows, convention attendees will also be able to meet panel guests and get their autographs in scheduled signing events.

The DREAMZzz signing will take place 30 minutes after the ‘LEGO: I Had a DREAMZzz Last Night About NINJAGO!’ panel wraps up on Thursday, July 20, followed immediately by the NINJAGO signing. Doc Wyatt has confirmed that he and fellow NINJAGO Dragons Rising head writer Kevin Burke will both be attending the NINJAGO signing alongside the main panel.

Other guests on the NINJAGO/DREAMZzz panel include model designer Freddy Charters, voice actors Sarah Jeffery (Zoey), Marcos Cardenas (Mateo), Vincent Tong (Logan, Kai), Brian Drummond (Mr. Oz, Nightmare King, Ras, Riyu, Lobbo) and Larissa Dias (Izzie), and head of LEGO production Asa Tait. Which of those will be participating in signings has yet to be revealed, however.

At midday on Friday, July 21, you’ll also be able to meet some of the folks behind LEGO MASTERS USA at the LEGO Booth. This signing will take place ahead of the LEGO MASTERS panel later that day, and could feature any or all of the panel guests, including Season 3 winner Stacey Roy, LEGO designer and judge Amy Corbett, master model builder Pete Donner, and producers Robert May, Michael Heyerman, Pip Wells and Brent Benedetti.

I like to think of myself as a journalist first, LEGO fan second, but we all know that’s not really the case. Journalism does run through my veins, though, like some kind of weird literary blood – the sort that will no doubt one day lead to a stress-induced heart malfunction. It’s like smoking, only worse. Thankfully, I get to write about LEGO until then.
