Full details of LEGO Sonic the Hedgehog BrickHeadz officially announced
An official announcement regarding upcoming LEGO Sonic the Hedgehog BrickHeadz has revealed full details of the two sets.
The LEGO Group has officially revealed two now BrickHeadz characters will be joining the popular collectible theme on September 1, with the launch of 40627 Sonic the Hedgehog and 40628 Miles “Tails” Prower. The 213th and 214th additions to the range will both be priced at £9.99 / $9.99 / €9.99, with the blue blur clocking in at 139 pieces and his furry pal constructed from 131 pieces.

We got our first look at the two BrickHeadz video game characters earlier today, with the blocky figures expanding the upcoming LEGO Sonic the Hedgehog theme beyond minifigure-scale models. 40627 Sonic the Hedgehog and 40628 Miles “Tails” Prower both include baseplates for display purposes and can always be positioned next to each other.
The LEGO booth at San Diego Comic-Con 2023 is also playing on the nostalgia of the ‘90s video game character, with a retro blue and yellow colour scheme based on the now-defunct Blockbuster Video chain. Inside the booth is a huge 3D brick-built statue of Sonic the Hedgehog, alongside VHS tape cases for LEGO Sonic, Star Wars, Marvel DREAMZzz and other themes.
40627 Sonic the Hedgehog and 40628 Miles “Tails” Prower will be both be available for purchase on September 1 from LEGO.com and in LEGO Stores.
