LEGO Speed Champions’ latest wave of sets is out now

From the jewel of LEGO Speed Champions to 2023 to a new manufacturer for the theme, the latest range of detailed cars is available now.

Following 76917 2 Fast 2 Furious Nissan Skyline GT-R (R34) at the start of 2023, four more early 2023 LEGO Speed Champions models have just launched on the official online store and in physical locations too.

This new selection includes three standard sets featuring one car and one minifigure each, all based on a real vehicle rather than a film, as well as a double pack of two cars and two minifigures.

That double pack is 76918 McLaren Solus GT & McLaren F1 LM and it features one of the most unique LEGO Speed Champions builds yet. The Solus GT is based on a concept created for Gran Turismo in 2017.

LEGO has been a part of my life ever since I was young. It all started when my brother passed down 7657 AT-ST to me. It’s guided me through my early years, through school and eventually through my degree in journalism. I still have all my collection proudly on display, including my many NINJAGO sets, my favourite of all the LEGO Group’s themes. Outside of Brick Fanatics I am an avid gamer and enjoy a good game of Dungeons & Dragons.
