Rumoured LEGO Spider-Man: No Way Home set may have fewer minifigures than expected
The latest update to the rumoured LEGO Spider-Man: No Way Home set reportedly coming in 2023 suggests it will contain fewer minifigures than originally expected.
Initial reports back in February claimed that a No Way Home set anchored around the Spidey threequel’s climactic Statue of Liberty battle is launching this summer, with a price tag of roughly $200 – and a generous nine minifigures in the box. According to StoneWars, however, set number 76261 will actually be slightly less ambitious, retailing for €104.99 with only six minifigures.

That revised price tag tallies with a further report from brick_clicker, which suggested that the set will retail for $99.99 in the US and include 900 pieces. StoneWars speculates that in addition to the trio of Peter Parkers that star in No Way Home (Tom Holland, Andrew Garfield and Tobey Maguire), 76261 will ‘probably’ include Green Goblin, Doc Ock and Electro.
That means we’re still missing Sandman and Lizard – although one or both of those characters could well be brick-built – and now also Ned, MJ and Doctor Strange from the original list.
All three of those characters have at least appeared as minifigures before, and quite recently, so you won’t have too much trouble adding your own to the Statue of Liberty scene. And the main baddies of the moment are all there, along with the crucial three different Spider-Men, so this isn’t all bad news – especially if the set really is twice as affordable as originally rumoured.
This is all still a combination of speculation and rumours at this point, so take it all lightly until we get confirmation from the LEGO Group. But with any luck, the long wait for more Spider-Man: No Way Home LEGO sets is almost over…
