LEGO Star Wars 40658 Millennium Falcon Holiday Diorama revealed

A new LEGO Star Wars seasonal set has been revealed in the form of 40658 Millennium Falcon Holiday Diorama, bringing exclusive minifigures.

Following the release of the Ahsoka sets and the 2023 LEGO Star Wars advent calendar, the official online store has now revealed that 40658 Millennium Falcon Holiday Diorama is launching on October 1. The 282-piece set has three minifigures as well as a Porg and BB-8 and costs £25.99 / $29.99 / €29.99. It is not currently available for pre-order.

The model depicts a scene much like that from the LEGO Star Wars Holiday Special released some time ago on Disney+. It features Finn and Rey enjoying a Life Day or Christmas feast and has some notable inclusions that are a first for the theme.

Finn finally has a LEGO lightsaber in this set and Rey’s post-Rise of Skywalker lightsaber is present too. Rey’s Jedi book on the shelf is also interesting to see and will likely increase the appeal of this model outside of its seasonal relevance. Rey and Finn’s exclusive torsos will go well with the other Star Wars seasonal jumper pieces from past years too.

The model isn’t like the other LEGO Star Wars dioramas with no black base, though it’s also significantly cheaper and is based on an original piece of LEGO Star Wars media, setting it apart from the rest.

40658 Millennium Falcon Holiday Diorama launches on October 1 for £25.99 / $29.99 / €29.99

LEGO has been a part of my life ever since I was young. It all started when my brother passed down 7657 AT-ST to me. It’s guided me through my early years, through school and eventually through my degree in journalism. I still have all my collection proudly on display, including my many NINJAGO sets, my favourite of all the LEGO Group’s themes. Outside of Brick Fanatics I am an avid gamer and enjoy a good game of Dungeons & Dragons.
