LEGO Star Wars 75291 Death Star Final Duel is Wal*Mart’s pick for Christmas 2020

Wal*Mart has placed LEGO Star Wars 75291 Death Star Final Duel on the retailer’s hot toys list for 2020 list.

With Christmas inching closer, Wal*Mart has announced the retailer’s ‘hot toys’ list for 2020, with one LEGO set featuring on the list.

In the Popular Character Toys list, 75291 Death Star Final Duel makes an appearance. The LEGO Star Wars set offers a recreation of Palpatine’s room on the Second Death Star, with functional aspects to recreate the epic finale to Return of the Jedi. Frozen 2 – Magic in Motion Elsa Doll, Blue’s Clues & You Peek-A-Boo,  Paw Patrol Dino Patroller, Star Wars The Child Bop It and Star Wars Dark Saber also appear in that category.

“Toys have really played a critical role in families over the last few months, especially with everyone being at home a lot more,” Erin Fish, Wal*Mart’s merchandising director for girls fashion dolls, told USA TODAY.

“You’ll see dramatic spikes in e-commerce sales, so shoppers should expect longer shipping times as fulfilment centres run at peak,” consumer practice expert Michael Brown added. “They’ll also see some inconsistency in delivery times as fulfilment centres may close if a COVID-19 case is discovered.”
