LEGO Star Wars animation panel coming to Celebration Chicago
Star Wars Celebration Chicago will see the creatives behind LEGO Star Wars All Stars and The Freemaker Adventures discuss the animated brick world live on stage.
In one month’s time,Star Wars fans from around the world will come together for an event celebrating the galaxy far, far away. Celebration Chicago will be taking place 20 years after the first Celebration event, as well as the release of The Phantom Menace and launch of LEGO Star Wars .
The University Stage will host the LEGO Star Wars animation panel, with executive producers on Bill Motz and Bob Roth discussing their work. The duo are the showrunners on LEGO Star Wars: The Freemaker Adventures and LEGO Star Wars All Stars, having spent their careers working in animation. They will be joined by collaborators on the shows Jason Cosler, LEGO Producer, and Leland Chee, Lucasfilm Senior Creative Executive.
Steve Dunk of TheForce.net will be hosting, promising “a fun-filled look back at what made these two series so special and why fans of all-ages love LEGO Star Wars.” The panel will take place on Saturday, April 13 at 11.45am.
