Top LEGO Star Wars bundles to get returning Kamino GWP

LEGO Star Wars’ best gift-with-purchase is back for a limited time, and here are a few ways to get the Kamino model without breaking the bank.

The most recent selection of offers to surface on the official online store includes a free 40765 Kamino Training Facility with LEGO Star Wars orders of £145 / $160 / €160 or more. The gift hails from the 2025 May the 4th event, and we typically don’t see those builds come back ever.

The set is most appealing for those three casual clone minifigures with dual-moulded legs and printed arms, both of which aren’t common in LEGO Star Wars. The models are worth considering, too, including a KE-8 Enforcer ship. Suffice to say, this is a gift-with-purchase worth picking up once or even twice.

To help you on your way before the gift-with-purchase leaves again on April 5, or sooner depending on stock levels, here are a few suggested LEGO Star Wars bundles to pick up the gift-with-purchase.

The Mandalorian and Grogu preparation

With The Mandalorian and Grogu’s big-screen debut coming up fast, a wave of new sets is also going to hit shelves next month. This includes 75447 The Razor Crest. The latest take on the starship includes some exclusive minifigures and yellow detailing, but it’s not expensive enough to qualify for the gift-with-purchase on its own. As a pre-order, you wouldn’t receive the gift-with-purchase until April 26 or later, anyway.

An additional purchase of a smaller set, which is out now is all you need to overcome both of these obstacles. Since pricing for the LEGO Star Wars set differs worldwide, that additional model differs as well. In the UK, 75436 The Mandalorian & Grogu’s Speeder Bike is your best bet, bringing the overall purchase to £148.98. Other regions should default to 40795 Luke Skywalker (Rebel Pilot), with a slightly higher cost. Those orders should come to $162.98 / €162.98.

Just a Star Destroyer

LEGO Star Wars enthusiasts aiming to pick up 40765 Kamino Training Facility without adding too much to their basket can always pick up 75394 Imperial Star Destroyer for $159.99, £149.99, €169.99. The huge and iconic model is just below the threshold in the US, but a LEGO Star Wars key chain is all you need to receive the GWP.

Get started with SMART Play

The recent debut of SMART Play in LEGO Star Wars can’t be ignored. The opportunity to at least trial this new system while scoring one of the best LEGO Star Wars GWPs to date is one to consider. Picking up both 75421 Darth Vader’s TIE Fighter and 75426 Millennium Falcon is all you need to score the Kamino model for free, getting you one SMART Brick and five SMART Minifigures. They’ll come to £149.98 / $169.97 / €169.97.

The life of a Clone Trooper

Perhaps the most thematically-appropriate bundle of sets to pick up to qualify for a free 40765 Kamino Training Facility is 75337 AT-TE Walker and 75431 327th Star Corps Clone Troopers Battle Pack. These sets together will cost £154.98 / $184.98 / €179.98, and represent a handful of the many battles Clone Troopers would have to face in their lifetime.

When paired with 40765 Kamino Training Facility, you’ll have a trio of models representing the lives of Clone Troopers, from start to finish.

LEGO has been a part of my life ever since I was young. It all started when my brother passed down 7657 AT-ST to me. It’s guided me through my early years, through school and eventually through my degree in journalism. I still have all my collection proudly on display, including my many NINJAGO sets, my favourite of all the LEGO Group’s themes. Outside of Brick Fanatics I am an avid gamer and enjoy a good game of Dungeons & Dragons.
