LEGO Star Wars Clone Pilot magazine out now, next issue’s freebie confirmed
The latest issue of the LEGO Star Wars magazine is on shelves now, serving up a free Phase 2 Clone Pilot minifigure and confirming what’s next on the UK schedule…
Issue 134 of the official LEGO Star Wars magazine is available now at all good retailers in the UK, and comes with a Phase 2 Clone Pilot minifigure – only otherwise available in 75402 ARC-170 Starfighter – for £5.50. That’s roughly the same price as you can expect to pay for one on BrickLink before shipping, so this is actually one of the better choices for the mag amid a streak of otherwise inexpensive minifigures.

It’s also a solid choice for a minifigure from 75402 ARC-170 Starfighter, given its other two characters are named Clone Pilots (Jag and Oddball) – this generic trooper is the one to buy in multiples if you have a Republic fleet that needs manning with the latest versions of these minifigures, complete with their unique helmets and printed legs.
The final page of Issue 134 confirms that Jango Fett (from 75433 Jango Fett’s Starship, so the version with unprinted arms) will be attached to the front cover of Issue 135 in the UK, complete with one of two metal tins. If you want to collect both tins you’ll likely need to hunt around different vendors, much as we saw with the Darth Vader-themed tins in 2024.

Expect to see that one on shelves in the UK in late April based on the current release schedule. Looking over at LEGO Star Wars magazines on the continent (which typically run a month ahead), Issue 136 should include a Commando Droid from 75435 Battle of Felucia Separatist MTT. The line-ups aren’t always one for one, though, so best to wait until 135 is on shelves for confirmation.
You’ll find Issue 134 and its Clone Pilot minifigure in all good newsagents, supermarkets and other magazine stockists in the UK right now. 75402 ARC-170 Starfighter is still available to buy at LEGO.com and third-party retailers, and is currently slated to retire by July 31, 2027.

I don’t mean to be contrary, but I’m not sure freebie is the right word. It often says gift on the cover, but I don’t think it says free. Even when there’s a second bag, it’s usually called an extra toy, and I’m pretty sure the price goes up accordingly. The mags themselves certainly have value, and I don’t suppose we’ll ever get to see them come without paper bag on the cover to be sure, but they wouldn’t be cheaper, or very much cheaper, without the bag.
Actually, forgive the tangent, but I’m case you haven’t seen this for yourself, where you have a mag with a second bag on the cover, it can be worth going to different shops to see if their copies have a different model. The recent/current Batman mag has Mister Freeze plus extra, and I’ve seen at least a couple of differentnbags. Star Wars, I’ve seen a second minifigure in one shop, a minibuild in another. I’ve even seen the second model change towards the end of the shelf life in the same shop. I suppose it depends what they’re trying to get rid of.
I’m sure you’ve all noticed this, but I thought it with mentioning, in any case. Sorry. I really don’t mean to be contrary.
