LEGO Star Wars Gingerbread AT-AT gets Millennium Falcon makeover

The LEGO community has been at it again, this time transforming 40806 Gingerbread AT-AT Walker into the fastest (and most festive) hunk of junk in the galaxy.

Thanks to some very creative individuals in the wider LEGO fan community, we’ve seen a number of official sets going through something of a specific makeover of late. The latest trend has been to create a brick-built Millennium Falcon out of all manner of models, from cars and animals to spaceships and even a LEGO Spacebaby GWP.

Now comes yet another fan-design courtesy of nopingrid_lego over on Rebrickable, with the recently-released 40806 Gingerbread AT-AT Walker being transformed into a colourful version of Han Solo’s signature vessel.

The alternate LEGO Star Wars MOC cleverly repurposes the 697 elements from 40806 Gingerbread AT-AT Walker to make a 297-piece iteration of the Corellian freighter, complete with various tasty festive treats and its own display stand.

The Falcon’s quad guns are now candy canes, Christmas lights adorn the rear engines and multicoloured sugary sweets are dotted all around the exterior of the fan-favourite ship.

Rebrickable members who want to make their own Gingerbread Millennium Falcon can do so by purchasing a PDF of the building instructions for the fan-made set from the site for $4.50, with more alternate builds for the festive LEGO Star Wars model said to be in the works.

40806 Gingerbread AT-AT Walker can be ordered right now for £54.99 / $59.99 / €59.99 and should arrive in time for the upcoming festive season. However, do note that the LEGO Star Wars set is currently on back order in many regions and expected to ship by November 18 in the UK, within 60 days in the US and by December 8 in Europe.
