As part of this year's May the 4th offerings, LEGO Star Wars is coming to LEGO Fortnite and it could be more than just LEGO Styles.
LEGO Fortnite content is coming to LEGO Fortnite next month as the franchise returns to Fortnite in a major way, across Fortnite Festival, Battle Royale and LEGO Fortnite.
The LEGO Group's May the 4th press release officially states that exciting new LEGO Star Wars content to discover is coming to the survival crafting game beginning May 3. That's referring specifically to LEGO Fortnite, not LEGO Islands which new LEGO Styles for Star Wars outfits would apply to as well.
Whatever is coming, it appears to be something exclusive to the LEGO Fortnite survival mode, possibly on top of LEGO Styles for new Star Wars outfits. Senior Director of Production for LEGO Fortnite at Epic Games Jesse Merriam previously revealed that IP themes were a major focus for LEGO Fortnite and this could be an example of this focus.
Recently, LEGO Fortnite received an update adding parts for working vehicles and a flying X-Wing Starfighter quickly followed. That might not be quite what we'll see from this upcoming update though.
It seems likely that the previous Star Wars outfits will return to Fortnite for May the 4th too, though this has yet to be confirmed.
