LEGO Star Wars magazine Issue 109 free gift revealed

LEGO Star Wars minifigures are returning to the official magazine with Issue 109, which is now confirmed to include another Clone Trooper variant.

The latest issue of the official LEGO Star Wars magazine has just landed on shelves in Germany – where the publication runs a month ahead of the UK – bringing with it a mini version of 75325 The Mandalorian’s N-1 Starfighter. And the inside back cover, as shared by Michael TKedh on the LEGO Star Wars Fans Facebook group, reveals that the next issue will include a 501st Specialist Clone Trooper.

That minifigure has only appeared once before in 2023’s 75345 501st Clone Troopers Battle Pack, which is still on shelves and readily available for £17.99 (or less). That might make this particular issue of the mag a slightly less attractive prospect given it’ll probably cost at least £4.99 when it arrives in the UK – along with the fact that you can grab these minifigures on their own for roughly £2 on BrickLink.

Still, anyone looking to add to their LEGO Star Wars armies in a more convenient way than ordering through the secondary marketplace or buying an entire set will be able to grab Issue 109 of the LEGO Star Wars magazine from June in the UK, or May on the continent. Issue 107 of the LEGO Star Wars magazine includes Chewbacca, and should be on shelves in the UK right now. Issue 108 and its free mini N-1 will then drop in May.

This will be the second Clone Trooper to arrive in the LEGO Star Wars magazine this year, following Issue 106’s Coruscant Guard Clone Trooper.

I like to think of myself as a journalist first, LEGO fan second, but we all know that’s not really the case. Journalism does run through my veins, though, like some kind of weird literary blood – the sort that will no doubt one day lead to a stress-induced heart malfunction. It’s like smoking, only worse. Thankfully, I get to write about LEGO until then.
