LEGO Star Wars K-2SO designer meet and greet announced
New York-based LEGO Star Wars fans will have the chance to meet and greet the designer behind 75434 K-2SO at an in-store event next month.
A huge line-up of new LEGO sets will be dropping on August 1, 2025, including an impressive nine models from a brick-built galaxy far, far away. The selection of LEGO Star Wars builds will cover the Clone Wars, the original trilogy and Rebuild the Galaxy, with one release in particular standing head and shoulders over every other.
75434 K-2SO is an 845-piece set measuring more than 41cm tall, arriving with its own printed information plaque and K-2SO droid figure. To celebrate the LEGO Star Wars model’s upcoming launch, the designer behind the build will be taking part in a special meet and greet event next month, if you’re in the US that is.

Those who just happen to be in the New York City area on August 4 can pop along to the LEGO Store Fifth Avenue from 3pm to 5pm, where designer Peter Carmichael himself will be on hand to mark 75434 K-2SO’s arrival.
The details of the meet and greet don’t specifically mention it being a traditional signing session as such, but it’s likely the designer might still be able to put his signature on copies of the LEGO Star Wars set that fans purchase from or bring to the retail location.
75434 K-2SO is the second version of the buildable character to date, with the first being 75120 K-2SO released back in 2016. The latest iteration of the KX-series security droid set will be available to buy from August 1, priced at £79.99 in the UK, $89.99 in the US and €89.99 in Europe.
