LEGO Star Wars May the 4th 2027 UCS set rumoured

The first word on next year’s LEGO Star Wars May the 4th UCS set has already landed online, pointing to a remake of a set more than two decades old.

BrickTap reports that 75475 UCS TIE Advanced will debut on May 1, 2027, revisiting Darth Vader’s personal ship at Ultimate Collector Series scale for the first time since 2006’s 10175 Vader’s TIE Advanced. That set came in at 1,212 pieces for just £79.99 / $99.99, but there’s no word yet on a price or piece count for the rumoured 2027 version.

With one eye on recent May the 4th releases, it’s fair to assume a new version would come in slightly bigger – the general price point for UCS sets in the first half of the year is around £200 (or £229.99 for this year’s 75442 The Mandalorian’s N-1 Starfighter), and it would be easy to imagine something to scale with the retiring 75382 TIE Interceptor.

That 2024 model includes 1,931 pieces and retails for £199.99 / $229.99 / €229.99. And given it is indeed retiring at the end of 2026, it will leave a TIE Fighter-shaped hole in the UCS line-up, so filling that with Vader’s TIE Advanced would make sense.

Still, this is just a rumour for now, so take it with the usual grain of salt – not least because we’re almost 10 months away from its potential launch date.
