More LEGO Star Wars 2027 rumours are flooding in thick and fast, including a new Stormtrooper Helmet, another potential crossover with LEGO Art and more.
Alongside initial rumours of an Ultimate Collector Series Darth Vader’s TIE Advanced for May the 4th next year, BrickTap has published details on a couple of previously-unknown LEGO Star Wars 2027 sets while also clarifying product names and numbers for others. Check out all the details below…
75467 Star Wars Poster
Said to be another April 1 release alongside the previously-rumoured movie theatre and diorama, 75467 Star Wars Poster sounds like another unique concept from the LEGO Star Wars theme in celebration of the franchise’s 50th anniversary. The name is pretty vague, but it’s not hard to imagine some sort of LEGO Art/Star Wars mash-up in the same vein as 31200 Star Wars The Sith.
If this is a recreation of a specific movie poster, though, it would be neat to see the same 3D-relief technique deployed in sets like 31215 Vincent van Gogh – Sunflowers and 31208 Hokusai – The Great Wave rather than another mosaic.
75495 Stormtrooper Helmet (Concept Art)
The LEGO Star Wars Helmet Collection will reportedly continue apace in 2027 with 75495 Stormtrooper Helmet (Concept Art), which is rumoured to be launching in January. But rather than remaking 2020’s 75276 Stormtrooper Helmet – one of the first entries in the collection – this set will apparently be inspired by concept art for the Empire’s foot soldiers.
If that means Ralph McQuarrie’s helmet concept specifically (and we’re just speculating here), this could be a pseudo-Bad Batch set, as the design was repurposed for early Stormtroopers in the animated series. Just saying.
April 2027 LEGO Star Wars set names
In addition to the two sets listed above, BrickTap has reported fresh product names and numbers for a pair of April 50th anniversary releases first rumoured yesterday. Those are 75469 Star Wars Movie Theatre (now with a new product number) and 75468 George Lucas Tribute, the latter of which is apparently the previously-rumoured 75XXX Tatooine BTS Diorama.
