A reliable source of LEGO rumours has offered a little clarity on a list of LEGO Star Wars sets that started circulating earlier this year, including a new Ewok Village and more SMART Play models.
Cast your mind back to January 6, when a list of 15 brand new LEGO Star Wars sets dropped online. Among those were models that have since hit shelves (75459 Imperial Lambda-Class Shuttle) or are landing next month (75454 Imperial Remnant AT-AT with INT-4), alongside a bunch of set names that have yet to materialise in any fashion or even receive rumoured release dates.
Those include Ewok Village – the original version of which is pictured up top, from 2013 – Star Wars Mini-Movie Posters, Buildable Yoda (another one...) and EPII Bounty Hunter Pursuit, which sounds on paper like a long overdue remake of 2002's 7133 Bounty Hunter Pursuit.
Instagram user a.clay.brick has now clarified (by way of a Story) that there was never any indication that these were summer 2026 releases, and indeed some of the other sets listed alongside them are now said to be landing in 2027, including 75463 X-wing Microfighter and 75464 Anakin’s Starfighter.
“I think it’s [safe] to assume the 2027 ones were always 2027 sets, and the source just had information VERY far in advance,” a.clay.brick said. “Of course it’s always possible for leaks from that far in advance to be cancelled or changed, but I would wait until the end of 2027 to assume they’re cancelled.”
That still leaves the four aforementioned sets in the balance, but there’s every chance they could arrive sometime later in 2027. The same is apparently true of two rumoured SMART Play sets, a $30 Ewok Attack and a $140 Battle of Hoth: Echo Base, neither of which have concrete release dates at the moment.
For now, we’ve included all those sets in the table of LEGO Star Wars 2027 sets below. Whether they actually come to fruition is another matter entirely, but then you can say the same of all rumoured sets – including the 50th anniversary April wave and the May the 4th TIE Advanced…
