LEGO Star Wars Obi-Wan Kenobi and Asajj Ventress minifigures teased for 2025
This summer’s rumoured LEGO Star Wars 75342 V-19 Torrent may throw back to another 2008 Clone Wars set in its minifigure selection.
Initial word on a remake of 2008’s 7674 V-19 Torrent surfaced yesterday via Instagram user childish_landino_chronicles, and now a couple of other reliable sources in the rumour community have chimed in with hints towards the set’s expected minifigure line-up. Word is floating around over on reddit that alongside a Phase I Clone Pilot, 75342 V-19 Torrent could include Obi-Wan Kenobi and Asajj Ventress.
Both of those characters appeared together in their Clone Wars guises in another 2008 set, 7676 Republic Attack Gunship, so bringing them back together in a new V-19 Torrent would be a nice nod to the wider LEGO Star Wars line-up from (checks notes) 17 years ago. (Do you feel old yet?) Ventress last appeared as a minifigure in 2015’s 75087 Anakin’s Custom Jedi Starfighter, while Obi-Wan was last seen in his Clone Wars armour in 2012.
We’ve never seen the Jedi General in that outfit outside of the hyper-stylised Clone Wars minifigures, and likewise Asajj Ventress as she appeared in the 2008 show (her 2015 minifigure was inspired by Genndy Tartakovsky’s 2003 mini-series). Updated versions of both of these minifigures would therefore be a solid coup for LEGO Clone Wars collectors in 2025.
It’s worth bearing in mind that these characters are only being loosely hinted at by sources including fateful_04, so best to take them with an even bigger pinch of salt than the existence of the set itself. But childish_landino_chronicles did say that 75342 V-19 Torrent would include three minifigures total, and a Clone Pilot, Obi-Wan Kenobi and Asajj Ventress would anchor it as an ode to 2008’s Clone Wars wave.
