LEGO Star Wars: Rebuild the Galaxy adds BrickHeadz and more
LEGO Star Wars: Rebuild the Galaxy season two is coming, adding the brick-built Chewbacca and Ahsoka BrickHeadz sets with returning stars.
As part of today’s reveals from Star Wars Celebration, a second season of LEGO Star Wars: Rebuild the Galaxy has suddenly been announced, and it looks to be even stranger than the first season. The four-part special starts streaming on September 19, 2025, with all parts streaming that day.
“We’ve been asked, what’s next for Sig, Yesi, and Jedi Bob? Will there be more Darth Jar Jar?” Hernandez explained. “Star Wars Celebration fans, we’re excited to announce that their story will continue,” shared showrunners and writer Benji Samit at Star Wars Celebration earlier today, as shared by the Star Wars team.
Plot details for Pieces of the Past, the name for the second iteration of LEGO Star Wars: Rebuild the Galaxy, are currently limited. The announcement mostly concerned casting, with Ahmed Best returning as Darth Jar Jar, Ben Schwartz newly voicing Jaxxon from Star Wars comics, and Ashley Eckstein cast as undoubtedly the oddest character of all.

Ahsoka’s voice actor from Star Wars: The Clone Wars, Rebels and many more projects is back as the beloved Jedi in Pieces of the Past – but she’s not a minifigure this time. Instead, Eckstein is specifically voicing BrickHeadz Ahsoka, as she appears in the retired 40539 Ahsoka Tano.
“When I got the call that I was going to be returning as Ahsoka, I cried,” Eckstein shared at Star Wars Celebration. “I’ve missed her so much. I’ve missed you all so much. This has been a dream come true. I am such a huge fan of LEGO. I have so many of these Ahsoka BrickHeadz, and I now get to voice her!”
The first poster for the season also features none other than 75371 Chewbacca as a fully-fledged character, towering over the rest of the cast. As strange as it was to see unusual minifigures, including Jedi Bob, in the first season of LEGO Star Wars: Rebuild the Galaxy, Pieces of the Past is already significantly weirder in the best way.
LEGO Star Wars: Rebuild the Galaxy: Pieces of the Past’s four parts will stream on September 19, 2025, on Disney+. The first season of Rebuild the Galaxy had three tie-in sets, but no such builds were confirmed for Pieces of the Past at Star Wars Celebration.
