LEGO Store Battersea Power Station opening event offers revealed

A number of exclusive offers to celebrate the opening of the new LEGO Store Battersea Power Station have now been revealed.

London’s fourth LEGO Store will soon be welcoming customers, when a new retail location at Battersea Power Station opens its doors on May 25. The iconic building has been refurbished in recent years and now plays host to numerous shops, a golf course, cinema and its own high street.

The LEGO Group confirmed details of its latest retail store in the capital earlier this month, following the flagship location in Leicester Square and one at each Westfield shopping centre (in Shepherds Bush and Stratford). As with many other LEGO stores, visitors will be able to check out the Build a Minifigure Tower, try the interactive mosaic wall, pick up new LEGO sets and much more.

To celebrate the opening of the LEGO Store Battersea Power Station, a number of exclusive offers have now been revealed. Visitors to the location on May 27 from 10am to 12pm and then again on May 28 from 12pm to 2pm can collect a free mini-build of the iconic landmark, on a first come first served basis, while stocks last.

In addition 40528 LEGO Brand Retail Store will be available with in-store purchases of £120 and over, with the promotion running from May 25 to May 28. The 402-piece model has previously popped up at the opening of other LEGO Stores around the world, so we’re not surprised to see it at the upcoming London location. Rounding out the offers will be a free LEGO Store Battersea Tote Bag with spends of £50 and above in-store from May 30 to June 3.

So absolutely no offers on the opening day? Very weird indeed. The free mini set and or bag only from day 3 onwards. Poor form.
