LEGO Store Leicester Square welcomes famous faces for festive event

For its biggest event since the store’s refurbishment, the LEGO Store Leicester Square invited a number of celebrities for a festive evening.

TV personality Sam Faiers, influencer Binky Felstead, screenwriter Charlie Brooker, and their families were among the famous guests who attended the LEGO Group’s Christmas launch event at LEGO Store Leicester Square, as well as presenter Ashley James, influencer Joe Sugg, actor James Buckley, DJ Annie Mac and more, reports Nottingham Post.

The store put on a number of family-friendly experiences, including festive Build a Minifigure and the LEGO Group’s annual Build to Give initiative, now back for its sixth year. Plus, there were a number of Christmas-themed builds created by the LEGO Store’s team for photo ops.

The event was put on to launch the LEGO Group’s holiday campaign, headed up by Katy Perry. The LEGO dress worn by the popstar in her LEGO Group ad was on display at the event, with matching headbands and necklaces available for the attendees to try on for themselves.

I write about all the very best fandoms – and that means LEGO, of course. Spending so much time looking at and talking about LEGO sets is dangerous for my bank balance, but the LEGO shelves are thriving. You win some, you lose some.
