LEGO Super Mario 66749 Character Packs – Series 6 Bundle revealed

A new set containing four random models has been revealed in the shape of LEGO Super Mario 66749 Character Packs – Series 6 Bundle.

LEGO Super Mario 71413 Character Packs – Series 6 launched on January 1, 2023, with eight new and returning characters packed in blind boxes. The brick-bult figures are all available right now priced at £4.99 / $5.99 / €5.99 each and include Birdo, a Green Toad, an Ice Bro, a Bramball, two Cat Goombas in one pack, a Blooper (with three baby Bloopers), a Sumo Bro and a Spike.

The models are compatible with the existing LEGO Super Mario Starter Course sets, which allow for interactive play and the ability to combine other models in the theme to make ever-larger levels based on the worlds seen in the popular Nintendo video game series.

Thanks to Brickset and the official online store, we’re now getting our first look at the packaging for a new product: LEGO Super Mario 66749 Character Packs – Series 6 Bundle. Each cardboard box contains four random 71413 Character Packs – Series 6 figures, although you won’t know what they are until you open up the packaging.

There’s currently no listing for 66749 Character Packs – Series 6 Bundle on LEGO.com to allow collectors to purchase the previously-unseen set, but the Building Instructions page does now feature the item, including how to build each character available in 71413 Character Packs – Series 6.

The LEGO Group has previously released similar bundles, such as 71035 The Muppets 6 Pack and Collectible Minifigures 66733 Series 24 6 Pack, so it shouldn’t come as a surprise to see the company implement the strategy with other themes. As soon as we have an official release date for 66749 Character Packs – Series 6 Bundle, we’ll let you know.
