LEGO teams-up with the McLaren F1 Team to reveal how its drivers refuel

You can find out exactly how the McLaren F1 Team’s drivers refuel in the latest tongue-in-cheek social media video from the LEGO Group.

The LEGO Group has been shining a spotlight on some of its more recent racing-themed sets of late, with two fun videos having dropped on its social media platforms. A new video has now been released that once again features 76919 2023 McLaren Formula 1 Race Car, as well as returning minifigure versions of drivers Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri.

The time the duo are pushed to the limits of their hunger while taking the LEGO Speed Champions vehicle for a spin. The latest episode of the Lando & Oscar Show sees the former struggling to focus during a heated race, resorting to discussing lunch options with mission control.

However, the only listing on the brick-built lunch cart appears to be the Fish Friday special, with Lando Norris having famously taken to social media on numerous occasions to discuss his distaste of the tasty aquatic creatures.

Fortunately, mission control manages to save the day with a last-minute soup-based option, with the Formula 1 driver hopping out of what’s revealed to be a computer simulation of a race that’s safely taking place indoors.

We wouldn’t be surprised to see even more episodes of the Lando & Oscar Show popping up at some point in the future, so we’ll let you know if the driving duo make a brick-based return.

In the meantime, LEGO Speed Champions 76919 2023 McLaren Formula 1 Race Car is available to purchase right now priced at £20.99 / $26.99 / €26.99.
