LEGO tease IKEA announcement

The LEGO Group has teased an upcoming announcement regarding their collaboration with IKEA.

The Danish toy company and Swedish flat-pack furniture giants first announced their intention to collaborate two years ago, with a vague tease of a press release.

Today, LEGO Malaysia’s Facebook page has posted an image suggestive of an official communication of what these two companies have come together to produce.

We can’t wait to show you what we’ve been working on …

Could it be just a press release explaining BYGGLEK, the storage boxes with LEGO-compatible lids – and the box of bricks – that turned up in IKEA stores back in July?

By the looks of things, we won’t have long to wait and find out.
