LEGO is teasing the new 2K open-world racing game
A new tease on social media may have confirmed recent rumours of an open-world racing game with a reveal of some kind coming soon.
Stay tuned to March 23 as the LEGO Group’s social media teams have shared a new teaser on Twitter with the fictional Awesome News Network naming a ‘LEGO 2K driving game’. This appears to be confirmation of the previously rumoured LEGO 2K Drive, which is said to be an open-world racing title.
The host of the fictional news network is informed that this reveal isn’t quite ready yet unfortunately with the announcement trailer coming on March 23.
The footage featured in the teaser includes what appears to be a steamroller crashing through a construction site with a mountain in the background, but the video stops before any more can be shown. Whether this will be an area to explore or a vehicle to drive has yet to be confirmed.
The official online store has already provided evidence of the upcoming 2K partnership and a polybag featuring their logo is also listed on the certification page. We’ll know more about what this partnership has to offer on March 23.
