LEGO Technic 42126 Ford F-150 Raptor revealed

A new LEGO Technic set has been revealed early thanks to an online retailer, bringing a pickup truck to the theme in a rare appearance.

LEGO Technic 42126 Ford F-150 Raptor has been showcased by Walmart, with a listing that confirms the price and the first images for the vehicle creation, and a new product from the existing Ford partnership.

Until now, the LEGO Group and Ford have only partnered to produce several Speed Champions models and 10265 Creator Expert Ford Mustang, making this the first Technic set from the manufacturer. What better way to introduce Ford to the theme than with the iconic F-150 raptor, with a shape that has become well-known thanks to its popularity as an off-road vehicle.

According to the listing and the box itself, the build includes 1,379 pieces and will retail for $99.99, but there is no information regarding the price in other regions at the time of writing.

The build will pack in many features such as the four opening doors and steering as indicated by the gear on the roof. There looks to be plenty of room in the back too for transporting your loose LEGO bricks.

There is no word on the release date for 42126 Ford F-150 Raptor but we’ll make sure to let you know as soon as we know more. This may also join the rumoured bulldozer model reported for release in October, but that hasn’t yet been confirmed quite yet.

LEGO has been a part of my life ever since I was young. It all started when my brother passed down 7657 AT-ST to me. It’s guided me through my early years, through school and eventually through my degree in journalism. I still have all my collection proudly on display, including my many NINJAGO sets, my favourite of all the LEGO Group’s themes. Outside of Brick Fanatics I am an avid gamer and enjoy a good game of Dungeons & Dragons.
