LEGO Technic 42165 Mercedes model rumoured for 2024
LEGO Technic’s upcoming March 2024 wave is rumoured to have one more model that has yet to be revealed – a Mercedes set.
Instagram user lego_minecraft_goat reports that 42166 NEOM McLaren Extreme E Race Car could have a companion set a couple of months after its release – on March 1, 2024. It’s rumoured that 42165 will be a Mercedes pullback model made up of 240 pieces for $26.99.
That’s the same price as 42166 NEOM McLaren Extreme E Race Car which is also a pullback made up of 252 pieces, suggesting that the rumoured set could be a similar size. The biggest difference between the two may be the branding.
This LEGO Technic set was previously rumoured but had no reported details beyond its price and piece count. Its rumoured arrival two months after the launch of the potentially similar 42166 NEOM McLaren Extreme E Race Car is interesting, though this could be to differentiate them beyond their builds.
