New LEGO Technic MX race bike 2026 rumour surfaces
A brand new budget-friendly LEGO Technic MX race bike is reportedly coming to shelves later this year, marking the third joint venture between the LEGO Group and Ducati.
Alongside fresh rumours of a Classic Space Pinball Machine, Brick Clicker (via Brickmerge) has shared the first word on 42238 Ducati Desmo 450 MX Factory Motorcycle, a 457-piece LEGO Technic set that will reportedly cost $49.99 in the US when it launches on August 1.
That particular motocross machine first went on sale to consumers in 2025 for just north of £11,000, and features fully-adjustable suspension, a 449.6c single-cylinder engine, five-speed gearbox, Pirelli Scorpion MX32 tyres and Takasago Excel wheels. It remains to be seen which of those functions and aesthetics the LEGO version would recreate.
If this LEGO motorcycle does come to fruition, it’ll be the third Technic Ducati set to date behind 42107 Ducati Panigale V4 R and 42202 Ducati Panigale V4 S Motorcycle – and the smallest and cheapest so far.
It will also debut alongside a full wave of Technic sets that’s already confirmed to include 42235 Ferrari 488 PISTA, 42236 Custom Garage Ford Mustang GT Car and 42239 Batmobile Tumbler (among others). Best to take it lightly until we get full confirmation from the LEGO Group, though.
