LEGO TikTok is taking over this viral sound
LEGO TikTok has taken a viral sound and is making it its own.
Anyone who’s spent any amount of time on TikTok knows that it’s unbelievably easy to fall down a hole of videos. Whatever you’re interested in, you’ll see more and more videos of it until that’s all you remember. LEGO TikTok is one such side of the app that has captured many – and now everyone is using the same sound for a very specific LEGO scenario.
Originally created by YouTuber Markiplier, the sound includes audio of the gamer saying: “Hm, well that’s a problem. But not my fault, I did everything I could and you did too. Also, why are you still here?”
LEGO TikTok creators are using the sound as a background to film completed sets, then pointing at the pile of unused parts left over at the end. While some, like the one below, are just the standard extra parts, others (like this one) highlight that sinking feeling you get when you complete a build…only to realise the extra parts you have were actually supposed to be part of the set.
There are truly too many to list (special mention to this one) and more and more videos are being made all the time. LEGO TikTok, unite!

- I write about all the very best fandoms – and that means LEGO, of course. Spending so much time looking at and talking about LEGO sets is dangerous for my bank balance, but the LEGO shelves are thriving. You win some, you lose some.
