LEGO Wicked unveils 75691 Glinda & Elphaba Bookends

A unique LEGO Wicked set will be launching on September 1, with the magical theme conjuring up 75691 Glinda & Elphaba Bookends.

The LEGO Group has officially revealed 75691 Glinda & Elphaba Bookends, a 1,327-piece set launching on September 1. Priced at £109.99 / $129.99 / €119.99, the LEGO Wicked model boasts a pair of buildable bookends for fans to assemble, along with six minifigures from the smash hit movie.

Aimed at an 18+ target audience, 75691 Glinda & Elphaba Bookends comes with Elphaba’s green bookend, which includes her green elixir bottle, a model of the Emerald City, a brick-built flower and a Grimmerie that houses secret compartments for The Wizard and Fiyero minifigures to be placed in.

The LEGO Wicked set also comes with Glinda’s own pink book nook based on Shiz University inside, with a large butterfly and flowers build sat on a book stack outside, one that features a compartment for the accompanying Madame Morrible and Pfannee minifigures to nestle in.

In addition, 75691 Glinda & Elphaba Bookends marks the debut of both signature characters as minifigures, whereas in previous LEGO Wicked sets to date they’ve only appeared in brick-built form or as mini-dolls.

75691 Glinda & Elphaba Bookends follows in the footsteps of a number of similar recent book-themed LEGO releases, such as 10351 Sherlock Holmes: Book Nook, 10367 The Lord of the Rings: Balrog Book Nook and 76450 Book Nook: Hogwarts Express.

You’ll be able to check out 75691 Glinda & Elphaba for yourself when the LEGO Wicked set launches on September 1 for £109.99 / $129.99 / €119.99.
