LEGO Winter Village 2025 set rumoured to receive 30% price increase

This year’s LEGO Winter Village set is rumoured to be on the receiving end of a 30% price increase in the US.

Little is known about the annual addition to the LEGO Group’s festive range so far, but redditor Clay_Bricks reports that it will carry the product number 10361, launch on October 1 (as usual) and retail for $130 in the US (less usual). While prices have risen left, right and centre in the wider LEGO portfolio, LEGO Winter Village sets have remained a firm $99.99 since 2018’s 10263 Winter Village Fire Station.

That’s up to and including last year’s 10339 Santa’s Post Office and 2023’s 10325 Alpine Lodge, both of which are currently scheduled to retire by the end of this year. It now looks like the last bastion of inflation-resistant LEGO pricing has crumbled, however – with a dramatic 30% price increase for 2025’s mystery LEGO Winter Village set.

Given the whole tariffs situation currently going on in the US, even rumoured prices are apparently subject to change, so there’s nothing to say this $130 price tag is locked in. But at the same time, it also wouldn’t be too surprising to finally see the Winter Village Collection jump up to that level. The real question is: are we looking at a more substantial model as a result?

The size, scope, piece count and even minifigure count has remained pretty consistent across the previous six or seven LEGO Winter Village sets (see the table below). A $30 bump in price would typically unlock the door to a more detailed or expansive build, or maybe even just one that isn’t a shallow façade. But this is LEGO in 2025, so we wouldn’t be surprised to only see the price change – and nothing else.

Remember to treat rumoured information lightly until officially confirmed by the LEGO Group. LEGO Winter Village sets are typically revealed around September for an October release, so we’ve probably got a few months to go until we find out either way on this one. In the meantime, head here to check out the full roster of LEGO Icons sets confirmed and rumoured for 2025.

I like to think of myself as a journalist first, LEGO fan second, but we all know that’s not really the case. Journalism does run through my veins, though, like some kind of weird literary blood – the sort that will no doubt one day lead to a stress-induced heart malfunction. It’s like smoking, only worse. Thankfully, I get to write about LEGO until then.
